Well, I have a hint for you today, I’m going to narrow down into each explaining what are these codes for and major reason of using them.

Am sure you don’t like doing exactly what your peers are doing but every time you struggle to have it somehow different.For Diesel denim company, using such codes are for the purpose of setting a clear line for style, fits and also their washes. Those “serial numbers” are the one known as wash codes. Therefore, those codes on the back side of the waist tell us more about the size and fit info.  

 

However, the wash codes dispense some info about the colour of the wash for that particular pair of jeans or else the material used to make that pair as well. For instance in our picture above,0086C is a 97% cotton/3% elastane blend.

Enzyme washing is a laundering technique employed in the recent past which utilises enzymes to soften and finish fabric hence giving these jeans a new look after they had used and dumped for a while. Enzyme can be used for garment washing as well as fabric washing. It is important to know that enzymes are proteins produced by living organisms and work best in specified temperatures and conducive environment.

 

Due to fading effect caused by the reaction of detergents utilised in cleaning.Generally, pigment wash is doing on pigment dyed or printed garments by using pigment washing technique so as to control the fading affect or old looking effect on garment. There are different machines which operate under pressure during the pigment washing and therefore these wash numbers help in knowing which machine is appropriate for certain type of a jean.

We have numerous types of washes such as tint, snow, hydrogen peroxide, bleach, caustic and stone washing among others. To differentiate materials and fabrics used in certain apparel. Some jeans apparels may be produced using a different material depending on the targeted market (Cold areas require cotton fabric while hot areas require a mixture polyester and cotton).
